Recessed Access Door with Drywall Bead Ceiling/Wall-Ilco Rim Cylinder With Night Latch from Industrial Hardware and Specialties is an interior 24" x 12" ( 24-1/8" x 12-1/8" rough opening ) non-fire-rated, non-waterproof, recessed panel for ceiling/wall applications. The 2F-RDW2412-RCNL-I is fabricated with a steel 16 gauge frame, 16 gauge non-removable door, a steel concealed pivoting rod hinge, and the door is finished with a prime coated white enamel.

Recessed Access Door with Drywall Bead Ceiling/Wall-Ilco Rim Cylinder With Night Latch.This 24" x 12" recessed door to receive drywall has it's frame constructed from 16 gauge steel, while the non-removable door is made from 16 gauge steel and is finished with a prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder baked white enamel finish. The Karp Associates RDW model door is recessed to receive a panel of drywall to provide a dry wall finish on the door to match the texture of the surrounding drywall. The door frame includes a drywall bead so that drywall cement/adhesive can be applied to conceal the flange. The 2F-RDW2412-RCNL-I is non-watertight and non-fire-rated.
