Covid-19
Dear Valued Customer,
As the Coronavirus ( COVID-19 ) outbreak continues to escalate here in the US and globally we are closely monitoring and following all of the CDC, WHO, State and local authorities recommendations to ensure the health and safety of our employees and their families along with our valued customers and business partners.
On March 9th, 2020, the New Jersey Governor Phillip D. Murphy announced that New Jersey will be under a State of Emergency due to the COVID-19 Public Health Hazard and that all non-essential businesses must cease operations. Industrial Hardware & Specialties Inc. is ”EXEMPT” from this order as we are currently considered an ESSENTIAL BUSINESS. We want you to know that we are making the necessary adjustments in our daily business activities to insure maximum possible safety and will continue to make changes as needed.
Industrial Hardware & Specialties, Inc. will remain open to support our customers and we want you to know that we are dedicated to providing you the very best customer service and support possible during these very challenging times. Our very experienced supply team is hard at work as well navigating through the global impact of this outbreak and they are doing all that they can to minimize the potential product supply impact of geographical disruption.
We have worked hard to ensure our supply chains are stable and have multiple redundancies to minimize any disruptions or delays as best as possible. Our critical on-site staff is provided hygienic supplies and adequate space to do their jobs safely. We ask that any pickup orders are called in advance so they can be processed to maintain social distancing during pickup.
The following has been extracted from the UPS website. It is reasonable to assume the same applies to FedEx and USPS delivery services.
UPS is maintaining delivery services except where limited by government restrictions. We are working in partnership with governments around the world to obtain exceptions that allow our operations to continue wherever possible, even in restricted areas. The World Health Organization (WHO) and U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have stated that the likelihood of novel Coronavirus contaminating cardboard or other shipping containers is low.
We all look forward to making our way to the other side of this pandemic and the positive things that are yet to come. You can count on us to execute the very best disciplines possible to support you our valued customer now and in the future. We will continue to offer the very best service and support possible. This continues to be a rapidly developing situation and I encourage you to follow us on social media or visit our website at https://www.industrialhardware.com/covid-19 for the most up to date information.
With my best regards for you, your family, friends and co-workers safety and well-being,
Fred Abraham President
