Surface Mounted Flush Access Door-Spanner Head For Plastered Ceiling/Wall from Industrial Hardware and Specialties is an interior 18" x 12" ( 18-3/8" x 12-3/8" rough opening ) non-fire-rated, non-waterproof, plain flat panel for ceiling/wall applications. The 2F-PL1812-SP is fabricated with a steel 16 gauge frame, 14 gauge non-removable door, a steel concealed continuous hinge, and the door is finished with a prime coated white enamel.

Surface Mounted Flush Access Door-Spanner Head For Plastered Ceiling/Wall.This 18" x 12" surface mounted flush access door has it's frame constructed from 16 gauge steel, while the non-removable door is made from 14 gauge steel and is finished with a prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder baked white enamel finish. The Karp Associates DSC-214PL model door is designed so that all makes and types of tile thickness up to 1" fit snugly to the recess of the panel. The unique concealed pivoting bar hinge operates completely out of sight soonly the metal thickness of the door and frame is visible. The 2F-PL1812-SP is non-watertight and non-fire-rated.
