These Self-Drilling Screws are designed to be used in applications where metal to metal connections are needed to be made.This self-drilling fastener is made of a zinc plated steel. The zinc plating is applied electrically to the fastener providing a protective barrier that helps prevent oxidation. Salt sprayed tested to 24 hours, the 355-HA810 should only be used in indoors or in non-corrosive applications. These 8-18 self drilling screws have a hex washer head with a 1/2" neoprene-epdm bonded sealing washer and should be installed with a 1/4" indented hex drive. The fastener is 5/8" long with a #2 point and a .035 - .100 drill capacity. You can purchase these self-drilling fasteners from Industrial Hardware and Specialties in boxes of 5000 pcs ( 30 lbs.).
